L- Pale straw, very slightly cloudy, pours with 3mm white head.
S- I get almost zero smell here, just a vague 'soda water' edge, unusual. I asked my wife, who has a laser-guided nose -> 'Indistinct, I can't put a name to anything' - unexpected.
T- It's pretty dry, with some hops coming in fast, but they don't have feet, they fast ebb away. That seems to repeat at least through the first 4-5 mouthfulls.
F- When the hops ebb away, it leaves the lack of body (or anything much else) exposed, reminding me that it is 'just 4.2%'
O- It describes itself as a 'light lager' and it's certainly light-tasting, even for 4.2%. I see the ingredients include rice - together with barley - and a la Rolling Rock that might partially explain it. There's nothing offensive about it beyond it lacking character, though I'd have no reason to buy it again.
Bought from Waitrose/London. 440ml can £1.65 BB: 02/06/2020

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
