There is a spot on the label for a "BOTTLED ON:" date but nothing is printed or stamped.
Appearance: The body is a hazy orange-gold. It has a short fluffy white cap that doesn't last long or leave lacing in the glass. It's very lackluster for the style.
Aroma: There is an aroma of alcohol and bananas. It smells a bit like vinyl at times.
Taste: It has a strong banana and bubblegum flavor.
Mouthfeel: Carbonation feels right and there is a nice sharpness to the front of the palate just as it rolls over the tongue delivering a wash of bubbles. It has moderate drinkability with just a touch of bitterness and a moderate alcohol presence.
Overall: It's a decent Belgian style Strong Pale Ale. There are a few quirks that are off-putting about the beer but it is drinkable and fairly enjoyable. It's not one I would really recommend though.

Pretty good BSPA!!!! Pours a light copper color into my Chimay goblet. Good carbonation level and a medium size bubbly white head with average retention. Aroma includes light fruit (pears), yeast and peppery spicing. Taste is more of the same. Fairly strong flavor - fruit, sweetness, pepper, yeast and a warming alcohol presence. Mouthfeel is rich and sweet. No harsh alcohol presence but the alcohol warms things up. Not the best BSPA, but still well worthwhile. I enjoyed it
