Strong pilsner. Brewed with three different barley malts, which gives the classic light pilsner color.
Natural hops are used for both bittering and aroma hops.

Copenhagen 7/5 2017. 50 cl bottle from Irma. Green version of the usual Gavnø label design with a Shield and other Medieval paraphernalia.
Pours hazy amber with small white head. Head settles as immensely thin layer of foam after a short while. It does not look like a Pilsner.
Aroma is sweetish and a little bit chemical. Sweet malts, a little fruitiness and a light sour touch.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is sweet as well. Light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and short.
It does not taste like a Pilsner. Way too sweet to suit my taste - and a bit of a disappointment when I expected a nice bitter brew. Don’t judge a beer by the label.
