From a can driven directly from Atlanta to DC, pours as a hazy gold with a tall, frothy, off-white, but quickly dissipating head. Aroma is like citrus with grain and bread smells. Taste is like bread straight from the oven, plus a nice balance of sweet malts and an aromatic hops 'bite' at the end. Sadly I'm drinking this on a hot muggy evening and this beer has a 'heavy' feel. A better choice would have been a crisp and carbonated Pilsner. But this "American Pale Wheat Ale" would be a totally solid beer for the winter.
