Definitely true to the name. Pours a light cocoa with a creamy frothy lasting head. Strongest aroma is coffee over roasty malt, then chocolate and vanilla. Taste is where strawberry is present and prevalent, probably the strongest flavor. Slight roasty malt with mild notes of chocolate and vanilla. Fruity feel for a stout, light body, mouth watering. Good, not great, too light.

Appearance: Served up a very dark brown body capped by a light sandy beige head.
Smell: Chocolate encrusted roasty dark malts with the requisite vanilla and strawberry with a small splash of cold coffee.
Taste: Sweetish and while you have you some modest chocolate, 'nilla and strawberry, the base beer, the stout feels rather light (perhaps surprisingly so), though it's sufficient enough to support these flavors.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-light carbonation.
Overall: It's alright.

12oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 2.99. Canned 1/10/19. Served in a Scofflaw snifter. Enjoyed 1/31/19.
Pours a dark chocolate brown with a short cap of khaki head. The froth settles, leaving a thin veneer and thinner perimeter but no lace.
Smells of chocolate, strawberry cream and over cooked caramel.
Taste is very much an augmented milk stout. There’s some roast character, plenty of sweet milk sugar, cocoa, a subtle berry note, caramel and a faint, earthy vanilla. Sweeter than a typical milk stout but fitting for the ice cream theme.
Light but mildly creamy feel with moderate carbonation. Bittersweet finish with over cooked condensed milk and cocoa-dusted underripe berries.
Some fine riffing on a theme by Scofflaw. Neopolitan Milkshake Stout Does a pretty good job bringing chocolate, strawberry and vanilla together in a flavorful but low abv brew.

From a cask at the January 2019 Atlanta Cask Ale Tasting (ACAT).
A successful attempt to be a neopolitan ale, with strawberry, chocolate and vanilla all evident and in good balance. Perhaps a bit too sweet for me but fitting the objective and not cloying.
Smooth, medium-full body.
