650 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Bottle #4 of 230. 2013 bottle. This is Bourbon Barrel Brick Kiln further aged in second use bourbon barrels.
Appearance - Murky brown. Small khaki head. Leggy with a medium collar.
Smell - Bourbon, lots of oak. Toffee. Booze. And a ton of butter.
Taste - There's something off about this. Intensely oaky. Sharp and tangy. Signs of infection. Bitter caramel. Bourbon behind it. And extremely buttery.
Mouthfeel - Very oaky. Tangy. Medium carbonation.
Overall - Yet another off-flavored Jackie O's beer. This one has diacetyl and an infection. A double whammy!
