Thanks Rob for hooking me up with this back when it was a fresh release. Kept chilled in my fridge all this time until finally opening it this past weekend.

From a bomber, into a matching JO's snifter, the brew appears a clear copper color with a white head that fades leaving patchy lace.

The aroma is quite citrus forward with a touch of minerals and carbonics with almost a peachy fruited quality before lemony lactic notes and a bit of tropics.

The tastw is tart with plenty of citrus to lemony lactic notes before getting a bit oaky with a tannic dryness. Like the nose, this does not disappoint, it really brings out some fruity tropical flavors.

Light in body with modest carbonation. A really crisp and effortlessly drinkable brew that I would love to drink again.

A hazy blonde/yellow. Kind of a whispy, lightly carbonated head. Smells and tastes pretty much the same. Some white grapes. Musty, almost moldy. Sour, but not overly so. More of a tartness. A little bit of funky Bret like yeast. Lemon candy. Grainy. Slight floral notes. Dry crisp finish. I really liked this one. Nothing was overpowering. Excellent balance.

Shared with JLindros. Bottled 5/15 bottle # 4/384.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice lightly hazy blonde hue when a thin white head that fades to leave light wisps.

S - Aromas of nice chardonnay barrels and nice grape must. Good sour blonde notes too.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, great tartness and almost flemmy sour blonde. The chardonnay is really juicy and vinous. Excellent.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, rather flemmy.

O - Overall this beer was rather tasty, great sour tartness. Very good wine notes.

Bottle 262/400. Batch 5/15.

Pours a clear golden/orange with a fast fading white head. Nose is a light sour, citrus fruit - not real assertive but pleasant. Taste follows nose. Nothing to hit you over the head but a nice crisp and light sour with some complexities in the finish..

Thanks to Rado for sharing this one at GRG1313's tasting.

Bottle 262/400. Batch 5/15.

Pours a clear golden-orange with a foamy white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with grain, fruit, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with sour grain, fruit, and acidic flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with a nice aroma, but the sour fruit qualities come through slightly better in the taste to me.

650 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Clear golden yellow. Small white head. Very thin collar.

Smell - Wheat and cereal grain. Fruity. Could be grape. Almost smells like stone fruit.

Taste - Grape more distinct. Grain. Lots of white wine. Medium sourness.

Mouthfeel - Low carbonation. Medium light.

Overall - Nice, but uncomplex.
