Third favorite from Jackie O's. Very similar to BCBS. This one poured thick and dark with a quick dissipating one finger head. I get a touch of the walnut on the nose along with soy sauce and bourbon. Taste follows with less walnut distinguishable. Overall a very repeatable sipper!

This beer pours black without any head.
It has a nutty, earthy aroma. Caramel and vanilla are present. Finally, chocolate and coffee round out the smell.
I get a nutty flavor first along with chocolate, caramel, and vanilla. I get some coffee in the finish.
Full bodied with a sticky, viscous mouthfeel
I think I was more excited that Quaff Bros. was involved than Jackie O's. But putting to juggernauts together could only result in barrel aged goodness. It is not the best Quaff Bros. collaboration, but is of high quality as I would expect.

The bourbon is very strong in this one! Great beer though. From the pour with the thick head to the thick and smooth mouth feel. It’s hits you but boy is it good!

Acquired from Swettenham_Shire so a big “Thank You” goes out to him. Poured from a 12.7oz bottle into a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a very deep dark brown color with a thin beige head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains chocolate, coffee, bourbon, nuts, molasses, dark fruit, roasted malts and a faint touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of bourbon, chocolate, coffee and dark fruit. Then a hearty roasted malt character comes in along with some background flavors of nuts and smoke. There is an alcohol burn that sneaks in at times. The hops presence is very mild but complementary and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium-to-heavy body, light-to-medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, slightly filling, very strong kick, good representation of style, this is a very solid big stout to drink for a long time.

Delicious! Love, love, love Jackie O! Rich walnut & brown sugar nose. Tons of bourbon & vanilla on the tounge. Super velvety mouthfeel. Definitely can tell it spent some time in KY bourbon barrels! !
