Received in a trade, shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice lightly hazy honey hue with a thin head that fades to leave light wisps and a halo.

S - Aromas of enormous guava notes. Very musty, very fresh. The peach notes are overpowered by all the guava, as is the Berliner notes.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, loads of musty guava, very nice fresh guava. There is loads of sour and tart peaches. Good funk and brett.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, good funk, nice tartness.

O - Overall this was a very nice Berliner. Excellent guava notes. I wish it was just guava, as it overpowered the peaches.

Thanks to rudzud

Big fizzy head fades semi quickly, murky golden yellow color.

Nose pure guava, just loads and loads of guava, fresh and jam, big musty guava, no real peach, little tart funk, big fruit juice, Brett funk, acidity, finally some peach when I swirl a lot, little sour peach pit, 4.5 due to lack of peach otherwise higher.

Taste brings more fresh guava, big juicy guava, like chewing on fresh guava, tart Brett fruity funk, sour, little sour peach way in the background, little flemmy acidity, guava jam, mild creamy toasted malt, bitter guava rind. Finish touch flemmy sticky, big guava, very little peach, tart Berliner funk, little bitterness.

Mouth is med bod, decent carb, little flemmy acidity.

Overall guava is incredible, like chewing on fresh guava and some jam, so hard to get that, unfortunately it overpowered the peach big time and the base Berliner a bit.
