Who Cooks For You is Jackie O’s first packaged hazy pale ale. Brewed and double dry hopped with over 3 lbs per barrel of both Cryo hop powder and hop pellets that were hand selected in Yakima, WA. This little number is full of bright aromas and flavors of mango, watermelon, and lemon. A subtle sweetness and soft bitterness will round out this fruit forward, low ABV creation. Named after the unmistakable Appalachian Barred Owl call, Who Cooks For You!

on tap. Very hazy light yellow, only a thin layer of head that was gone soon. Smell was some grapefruit or citrus. Tasted like an IPA to me, but not as bitter as most. No strong flavors just muted grapefruit, sour. I was expecting to really like this beer but was disappointed

Aroma is citrus and mild funk/hint of hard water. The flavor is fruit/citrus, malts, mild sweetness and a dryish/slightly tropical/spicy hops finish.

Description: Straw color, not very cloudy with a little bit of white head/foam. Aroma is fruity and dank with hints of mango and orange. Bigger and bolder than most APAs. Taste is similar to the smell, with orange upfront and a bitter grapefruit finish. All in all, nicely balanced. The feel is thin, with medium carbonation and a 'wet' finish that lingers.
Overall: 4 (This beer is good and I may or may not drink it again) I'm not a fan of Mosaic hops, but I liked this one. It was a little thin, but still flavorful.

12 oz can from the Ohio/Michigan area served in a Belgium snifter. A July 2023 canning date is stamped on the bottom of the can. Exceptional design on the can of this beer inspired by the call of the Barred Owl.
This pours with a hazy, pale golden body and good white head. Hoppy citrus fruit notes dominate the aroma and the flavor. Bold for style and could readily pass for an IPA.

6/14/2023, On our trip to Athens,OH.... Headed to Jackie O's, but enjoying this offering at The Galley in Marietta, OH.
This one didn't "wow us. A little flat, mouth feel is soft, hop bite is low. I'm thinking the temp isn't right in their system..... An unfortunate thing we often run across early in the day at places. Flavor is floral and light lemon.
As bird lovers/watchers we certainly appreciate the name!
Edit: Later in the day we arrived at Jackie O's Public House and tried this on tap ... Night and day difference. Correct serving temp and fresh. The hop influence comes through! Brighter in aroma and flavor.

Taster at brewery. Pale, hazy gold n with small creamy head. Grainy, malty, fruity aroma. Light citrusy flavors, bready malts, and a creamy mouthfeel. Sublime.
