Imperial stout brewed with loads of maple syrup, porcini mushrooms, MSG & cacao. Collaboration with Tired Hands. On tap at Jackie O’s Brewpub & Public House in downtown Athens.
Essentially black and opaque body with reddish-brown edges and a very good tan head. Patterned lacing is left sticking to the glass.
Aroma: complex; moderate strength. A bit smoky.
Flavor: Very strong and fairly complex, with hints of espresso, maple, and molasses. High bitterness for style. Lacks harmony and balance.
Feel: full body; very smooth with medium-light carbonation.
