I tried this at the Daily Growler in Powell, Ohio. It poured an opaque dark with no head that no lace. The scent had waifs of chocolate and vanilla goodness. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with chocolate and vanilla leading the way with subtle citrus presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it was an solid beer.

 

 

This cola black beer with whisps of off-white carbonation swirling on the surfaces smells like a popsicle. I think it's the brightest stout I've ever tasted too, but in that, it's very weird, tasting of orange candy that's slightly medicinal and watery, at times coming across like a grape jelly sandwich.
