This brown ale was brewed to commemorate the 2007 Lungevity Everest Expedition. The people of Tibet call Mt. Everest “Chomolungma,” and this exceptional ale carries on the spirit of the climb. Seven Malts, three hops, and 100 pounds of local wild flower honey give this ale an exceptional character. Baked muffins, dark fruit, bittersweet chocolate, rich honey and earthy subtle hops caress the palate.

I really wanted to really like this beer. It just seems a little too thin in both mouthfeel and flavor. I wanted more malt. I wanted more aftertaste. It's good but just that.

Tasted on tap at Old Scratch Pizza in Beavercreek, OH.
This was a malty brown ale with deep, complex flavors. It's billed as an English Ale, although it's ABV is unusually high for the style. Call it what you will, it was flavorful and enjoyable. I was with friends and couldn't analyze the beer to the extent I would have liked, but I will try to taste it again and give a full review when I have an opportunity.

Deep brown with a slight amber glow
Tan head that lingers and leaves a healthy amount of lace
Smells of honey nuts and malt
Taste is a smooth well balanced brown ale. just enough honey to smooth out the hops
Great winter beer

Weird name for a beer but nothing is really weird on this one...
Great reddish coloration, light as it is. Smell is malty with a strong whiff of honey. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied with an all-around very flavorful taste. I really liked this.
