Over the course of 3 months, Perpetum naturally becomes tart and full of character. A unique solera method, created using a proprietary yeast blend, ensures consistency and perpetual motion. Inspired by traditional Berliner Weisse styles ales from Northern Germany, blueberries and peaches bring spirited balance to our bright and lively house sour wheat ale.

16.9 ounce bottle, 2020 vintage. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a hazy pinkish/orange color with about an inch off-white head that stuck around a while. There's a small amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like peach, blueberry, bready/wheat malt and some lemon. Taste is similar to the aroma, with the addition of some vinegar and earthy flavors. I think the peach is stronger compared to the blueberry here. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit coating and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good fruited sour ale, definitely worth a try if you come across some!
