375ml bottle poured into a tulip
A- pours black in color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that has short retention
S- coconut leads the way on aroma, followed by notes of barrel oak & bourbon, honey, caramel, and cinnamon, which becomes much more prevalent as it warms
T- sweet malty chocolate up front quickly gives way to a controlled blast of fresh cinnamon. Mid-palate brings out the barrel, adding oaky bourbon to the mix. The finish brings out a fresh coconut note, that lends itself to notes of marshmallow and vanilla bean. Lingers of cinnamon, coconut and bourbon soaked chocolate
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns into a creamy, slightly warming finish
O- the cinnamon stays in check, allowing the coconut to shine, very well done
