A chance encounter with a particularly special crop of Cashmere hops during hop selection led to the creation of this delectable hazy DIPA. Distinct strawberry tones from a heavy inclusion of Cashmere in the dry-hop are balanced with citrus and mango notes from Citra and Centennial Cryo, with a gentle addition of coconut and pineapple from Sabro.

Drinking a cold 12 oz can poured into a snifter. Beer was canned 12-18-2020....ooops! Well for science, lets see what we got here.
The can has been in my beer fridge since I received it in 2021-ish.
The beer pours a relatively clear golden color with just a little hazy particulate and a fine dense bleached white head foams up about .5 cm and fades to a thin whisper of an edge layer soon after the pour.
Aroma on this beer is some muted citrus and peach notes with hints of biscuity malt. Definitely seems pretty subdued on the nose. But also not any oxidation or off scents at this point.
First sip reveals a medium body with fine yet very prickly carbonation. texture is pretty smooth and the beer drinks pretty easy.
Flavor is similar to the nose, some light citrusy orange and again some peach. The fruity peacch notes linger and dominate the flavor profile. A little rindy citrus bite peaks through on the finish and overall the beer dries out on each swallow. Never any hint of the booziness, which is impressive at 9%.
Im sure the flavors and aroma are muted from when this was fresh, but this beer is also still totally drinkable and decent enough to enjoy, WELL past its expected drink by date.
Im not sure Id drink again, because of style preference shifts, but this beer is simply still fine.

Canned on 12/18/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy and murky golden; small off-white head that quickly fades leaving decent retention and lacing. The aromas have lots of sweet fruits along with some floral notes. Some pineapple, peach and apricot. Malts are there. The aromas really open up as it slightly warms. The flavors follow the nose. More peach and apricot leading the way. More floral notes. It's slightly syrupy. It's definitely on the sweeter side. Moderate to low bitterness. Malts do their thing. Finishes very juicy. Alcohol goes unnoticed for the most part. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, smooth and dangerously drinkable.
This is a pretty solid New England IPA. Jackie O's has been pumping out a lot of NE IPAs lately and this is another nice one. I might not personally like it as much as some of the others that they've brewed, but I definitely still like it. This is still really nice. It becomes more complex and enjoyable the more you drink it. Well done.
