Look - black thick with a very slight head and rimming that go away quick but still has good lacing
Smell - roasty malty a ton of woody barrel with a slight caramel cocoa and even more vanilla
Taste - so much vanilla followed by woody and caramel slight roasty malts
Feel - full body with a light carb
Overall - pretty great vanilla taste with a lot of barrel

Another in a series of thanks to fiver29 for this cute 12.7 oz. bottle. Consumed as a celebration of getting our new treadmill down the stairs. And put together. Mostly. Worst. Directions. Ever.
Black as the tears of a guy who just carried a 225 lb. base into his basement (I did have help, I guess) & very quiet. The vanilla fairly leaps from the glass into the air around my head.
The Illest Vanillins appears to have been born in a vanilla factory. The vanilla & bourbon tangle in the underbrush until one cannot be discerned from the other. Booze enters stage right amid roasty malts, distant oak. This small bottle simply isn’t enough.
With copious amounts of vanilla & bourbon this is as straightforward as a Def Leppard song (but way, way, way, way, way, way better). Very good beer.
