Matriarch is our beloved Triple IPA. Originally brewed in 2009 at our Brewpub, this recipe has always brought big bright American hop character and a light sweetness from a touch of honey malt and a sizable ABV. Three separate dry hops build layers of effervescent tangerine flesh, pineapple juice, mango custard, and lime rind. New depths of luponic consumption via a rich and resinous body.

Poured from a growler into a Teku glass
A: Deep orange with a one-finger head
S: A nice blend of all things hops- citrus, pine, tropical fruit with none standing out over another
T: Matches the nose- a balanced blend of all things IPA without any one note standing out
M: Full-bodied but dangerously balanced- not a hint of alcohol
O: A really well-made, balanced, tasty DIPA

Bright golden color. Orange on the nose. Nicely balanced fruit and malt with a nice long finish. Yum!
