When there are too many things to change, stick with the classics. A simple grain bill and our house hazy IPA yeast support the bright and tropical character of our favorite IPA hops- Amarillo, Citra, El Dorado.

Bought cans from the outpost in Columbus. Disappointed that they were canned about 3 months prior, but hops held up more than I would have thought. Turbid yellow-gold in color with a full 1-2" head on the pour. Loads of pineapple on the nose, plus orange and coconut. As the beer warmed i noticed the dried fruit scent that made me think of out of code ipa - sickly sweet. Taste was citric over sweet, with more orange and grapefruit notes as the beer passed the tongue. Medium bitterness for a hazy, and easy drinking for 8.5%

I got a couple cans of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a hazy orangish with very thin white ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had juicy citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet juicy pineapple and citrus presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

This sure is a deja vu brew. I'm pretty sure they used a similar can design before or else I drank this before. The taste is familiar, but how many big IPA's have I tried? How many Jackie O's? Lots, but Jackie O's always excels at IPA's like this.

This pours slightly hazy (not thick) with great lacing. The aroma is not too skunky, just a baby skunk. The taste is a nicely balanced mountain of hops and malts. Not too dry or bitter, not too sweet, yet it is dry, bitter, and sweet, all at the same time. It goes down easy with a thicker aftertaste to remind you of the generous amount of alcohol in this.

Recommended. Another great Jackie O's brew. I can't believe how long it's been since I was in Athens. I need to get back to camp OU (you know, the Harvard on the Hocking) and stop in at Jackie O's.
