Brewed to honor the Czech Pilsner brewing tradition, Speed Shop was brewed with our favorite German Pilsner malt and Czech-grown Saaz hops in preparation for a slow, cool fermentation and extended lagering until just right.

Picked up a single from the Blue Door Bottleshop in Hendersonville 9-1-22 for $3.00. No canning date; consumed 12-22-22. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured straw yellow with a beautiful white head that has some great hang time.
Nose is nice as the Saaz hops shine thru.
Taste us well executed. The pilsner malt base is very light and of crackers and white bread. Hopping is nicely done with Saaz which lends a white pepper spice to the finish which is more hoppy than sweet.
Mouthfeel is very light and extremely refreshing.
Overall a nicely executed pilsner!

12 FL. OZ. can
Served in a perfect pint glass
This beer pours pale yellow and slightly hazy. It is topped with a creamy, off-white head that leaves little lacing.
Big biscuit notes. After it warms, I get some citrus, mainly lime. Some floral notes
Biscuit flavor upfront and while it is chilled. Once warmed, it has more citrus flavors. Nicely balanced
Medium bodied with an effervescent mouthfeel
Pretty flavorful for a lager. Not bad

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had had saaz grasslike notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with common Czech pilsner presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.
