Sample at EBF 2016 Chocolate with huge nutty aroma and flavor with hints of stone fruit. Light earthy bourbon and vanilla sweetness, like desert in a glass.

EBF sample pour. Poured very dark. Aroma was a strong imperial stout infused with a well defined nuttiness. I thought the flavor was even more impressive. Hazelnuts are something I specifically remember tasting. It starts out like a roasty, dark stout then finishes with a medley of very nutty flavors. It was a little hot and maybe less full bodied as other beers I tried at the fest but I really enjoyed the stressed nutty flavor.
