Thanks to Sean for sharing this one. One of 20 bottles(!). Served in a Cigar City snifter.
A - Pours still, with no bubbles, and only a glass-coating brown film. Body is black with hints of brown at the fringes.
S - Quite sweet, with plenty of chocolate, dark fruits, vanilla, oak, and grain alcohol.
T - Taste is a little bit boring actually, with not much going on other than muddled sweetness. It's not bad, just not up to the usual Jackie O's Dark Apparition standards. Less over alcohol than the aroma is a plus.
M - Smooth, still, viscous, and sticky.
D - The 4oz I had was plenty. My least favorite nano by a fair margin. I'd be interested if they did these again (and if they were actually carbonated). One danger of pumping out as many brews as Brad does is that there are bound to be a few misses. However, he'll be a better brewer down the road as he learns from his less successful brews.

12oz unlabeled bottled poured into Darkness snifter. Thanks to Brad for this one, much appreciation.
A - Pours black, light head that vanishs quickly, bubble here and there along the side.
S - Very sweet and rich, chocolate, booze, slight nail polish or something a little to strong for me here.
T - Huge vanilla notes, booze, oak. The vanilla is overpowering and pretty much takes over. I wish there was some more chocolate or dark fruits.
M - Medium, rich and smooth, light carbonation.
D - Meh, not really digging this one. Too much vanilla extract and not enough other things going on to enjoy this one. Give it a try, but can't really recommend.
