I had this beer right before the Sun Village Orange Cream, and was surprised at the similarities.
Appearance - Honey amber.
Smell - Honey, vanilla, oak, hop flowers, and orange blossom.
Taste - Oak, orange, vanilla, mellow hop. Bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel -
Overall - I like this better than the buzzed about Sun Village Cream. Less sweet more hops, and still some orange notes.

On tap at Jackie O's the night before the June release.
Appearance
The beer is a deep, shimmering brassy orange. The head thins out to a lot of cloudy wisps.
Aroma
The oak is fairly big on this one and smooths everything out. The dominate aroma is a creamy orange. Notes of vanilla. Lots of pulpy, fleshy, oak sapling.
Taste
Woah, this is a lot better than my recollection of the standard Mystic Mama. Its very creamy; the oak blends its vanilla notes in with the citrusy hops very nicely. Indeed, the beer is very pulpy and woody, but those flavors ride under the orange pith notes. The finish gets bitter and pithy just before even more oak comes around to tie up the loose ends.
Mouthfeel
The oak really did a number on this beer's body as well. It seems to have lowered its carbonation and bumped up the weight of the mouthfeel.
Overall
Oak has made Mystic Mama much smoother, and in my opinion, much more palatable and enjoyable. One of the better IPAs I've had down in Athens.
