Our Chomolungma Brown Ale conditioned on honey and holiday spices and brewed with 7 malts and 2 hops to create an Ale with exceptional character. Featuring notes of baked muffins, dark fruit, bittersweet chocolate, rich honey, and the warm, sweet aromatic flavors of baking spices. The perfect companion for all of your Christmas and holiday celebrations!

It seems that Jackie O's has stuck it's fingers into some slightly overworked styles lately. this included.
It pours really pretty dark brown ale with a great stack of pancakes for a head. The aroma is clean but the taste is not. It's a mess that works every which way around the usual christmas spiced brown ale. They did a great job and I wish I had more than one can.
Recommended. Way better than most similar ales you might find in the region. Nice to see from Jackie O's.

12 ounce can, canned on 10-02-25. Saw it at my local store yesterday and picked up a 6 pack since I don't recall Jackie O's having a Christmas Ale before. Served in a chalice, the beer pours a dark brown color with about an inch or so tan head. Head retention and lacing are both pretty good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like honey, nutmeg, allspice, bready malt and a bit of chocolate. The taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some nuttiness, dark fruit and earthy flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one, but don't think it's as good as the regular Chomolungma which I like a lot. Definitely worth picking up though, it's a nice Christmas Brown Ale that isn't overly spiced.
