Imperial Scouts 2025 Members’ Beer #3
Barleywine-style ale aged in bourbon barrels and conditioned on raspberry, cacao nibs, and vanilla beans.
Composed of 24 month barrel-aged Endolith, this inaugural batch of Reserve was aged solely in Maker's Mark bourbon casks. The barrels' soft wheated bourbon character highlight supple maple, rich vanillin, and notes of bright dried fruit that ushered us towards treating the blend with these choice ingredients. Lush and juicy raspberry dances high across the palate, creamy vanilla lifts the middle, and the sweet, roasty profile of the toasted cacao grounds the sip.

Look - basically black and thick with a nice tan head great rimming and sticky lacing
Smell - raspberry vanilla cocoa, no sign of a ba bw
Taste - lots of raspberry followed by vanilla and cocoa. No sign of endolith
Feel - full body light light carb
Overall - raspberry overload and no signs of the beloved endolith.
