Dark App put into a 7 gallon bourbon barrel with raisins added. Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a tasting glass.
3.5 A: Black color. No head could be formed.
4.0 S: Chocolate, raisin, light leathery bourbon, woody.
2.5 T: Too much tanginess from the bourbon. Raisiny with a bit less chocolate. Supple roastiness. Strangely boozy.
2.0 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. No creaminess at all.
2.5 D: This should have been good. I'd venture a guess that the barrel aging wasn't done too well this time.
