I got a can of this beer from my bestie from Charlotte, NC whom got it from a beer of the month club pack. It poured an opaque dark khaki head that is leaving some nice lace. The scent had a mild mix of toast and pine notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle light roast malt base and bitter pine hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

This is easily the top 3 worst beers I've ever had. Somehow smelled like sewage? Thank Sweet Baby Jesus the sample was free. the other Black IPA's I've had were way better and at least unique this was just the yuckiest parts of everything. I hate this
