My son and I stopped in on our way to a mountain ski day. When we arrived, we were informed it would be a 25 minute wait, so I elected to get a growler fill and carry on. By the time my growler was filled, fifteen minutes had elapsed so we opted to belly up to the bar. Half Hitch had five taps, plus several local guest taps - very nice touch. Our food was tasty, service was friendly but less than efficient. This is a lovely facility with a nice view of the Bow River - we will be back!

Stopped in for lunch with the wife on a Monday afternoon 20/2/17
New, clean and shiny interior as expected for a new brewpub, the outside is still under construction I’m guessing or at least the parking lots unfinished but no big deal. A dozen taps of local stuff and half of them I’ve never even heard of, pretty happy to see nothing but local taps and that might be a first for me. Our bartender was decent, didn’t know a whole lot about beer but knew enough to make good recommendations. I had a burger and it was OK but nothing special, my wife had a pizza that was rather enjoyable. Our bill of 70$ included a 6 pack take away so fairly reasonable for a couple pints and plates. If your ever in Cochrane this would be the best option by a fair margin, worth the stop….
