From a can. Amber color with a half inch of white foamy head. Pleasant malty aroma. Medium body with a somewhat sticky feel. Malt and caramel flavors with a dry grassy finish. Decent, but the feel/finish could be better.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is big of caramel and a very lightly toasted bready smell. With these aromas comes a decent showing of a grainy smell as well as some aromas of hay and wheat. Rounding it all out is a touch of apple and pear and a decent showing of toffee.
Taste – The taste starts with a lightly grained bready flavor that is paired with a decent showing of caramel and toffee. There is also a bit of apple and pear upfront, which as the taste advances fades at the expense of more caramel and toffee. All the while some flavors of a light grass, herb, and hay come to the tongue. At he very end, the sweetness fades a bit, leaving one with a moderately malty, but crisp taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is slightly thicker and chewier with a carbonation level that is very low. The low carbonation was not good or the feel, and took away from the easy drinking flavors and nature.
Overall – OK overall, but the feel really sucked. There are better Oktoberfest out there.
