look: no head whatsoever, beer is a murky brown to orange colour, totally hazy.
smell: sour and funky, not getting those passion fruit flavours but the pineapple is there, getting a lot of apple too, somewhat like cider, some bready malt, very tart, sweetish, lot of vinegar and acidic notes.
taste: really quite sour, passion fruit and pineapple flavours are subtle at most, apple is by far the dominant flavour, tart, peculiar herbal flavours, a white wine like quality to it. perhaps i don’t understand the style well enough but to me this does not taste particularly pleasant, but certainly interesting.
feel: medium to full bodied, light to medium carbonation, really quite dry.
overall: eh, slightly confounded by this one, it’s not unpleasant, and it’s certainly most intriguing, but it isn’t something i find very enjoyable to drink.
