Limited Edition No. 23 - Nitro Stout
Hope Beer

look: one finger creamy tan coloured head with good retention, beer is black as night, no light bleeding through at all.

smell: quite sweet, milk chocolate, vanilla, redcurrant, fig, prune, some brown bread, milky coffee, not too much roasted character, pleasant aroma.

taste: not bad at all, way more roasty toasty flavour to taste than on the nose, burned toast (in a nice way), brown bread, tobacco, smokey, nicely sweet, redcurrant and prune and caramel and toffee, good wallop of bitterness on the finish, smokey flavours linger, nice.

feel: medium bodied, light carbonation, lots of lingering bitterness on the back of the tongue, creamy mouthfeel from the nitro, drinkable, dry.

overall: pretty rock solid dry stout from hope, nothing spectacular but certainly nice enough.
