Copenhagen 21/11 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Nordens Plads, Frb. F. Old drawings of a boxer and a soldier taking aim on the can.
Pours almost clear yellow with a big white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a scent of citrus fruit. Sweet pale malts, bread and sweet biscuit. Lemon and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor îs medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is sem-dry.
Fairly intense for a Pale Lager and with a nice, citric streak.

"Clean, crisp, subtle malt sweetness. Citrus aroma and refreshing bitterness" according to the can. To be fair, it doesn't lie. It's refreshing and hoppy with fullish feel. Nice and well rounded lager if a little subtle on the senses.
