Bottled and purchased as part of a four pack from budget chain Home Bargains
Pours a Lovely looking red hued amber coloured body with impressive off white head
Aroma is rye, red laces & peaty whisky
Flavour has those elements & it is rather good but it is so thin it knocks it all off

From a twelve ounce brown bottle, this beer is a clear amber color. Medium off-white head. The aroma has a bit of a boozy, whiskey scent, along with some grain and malt. The taste is a bit hollow...some malt, and the booze note, but not a lot of complexity. Medium body. Okay.

Pours a dark Amber with little head slight lacing, low carbonation. A study in subtlety well-balanced, approachable, alcohol is well hidden. Would definitely buy it again.

330 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 8%. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate to small white head. Pleasant aroma of Speyside whisky, notes of caramel, toffee, vanilla and berries, hints of rye bread. The flavour has some sweetness, but not too much. Distinct whisky notes, but still well balanced, with the same elements as in the aroma. Moderate hops.
