Consumed 04/28/08.
Clear medium brown hue with good lacing and a small but pretty head.
Aroma is caramel malt.
Chocolate malt and roasted wheat are listed on the menu as components of this beer. What I taste, though, is a hint of toffee and a slight hop spice and bitter bite at the end. Not your typical nut brown.
The beer is too astringent to be a successful nut brown as well.
Still, a well-made brew that just didn't agree with me.
