New Bad Lab offering on tap at the Nashua Garden. Had a couple of 12oz pours during Happy Hour, for $3.50 each...
It is an oily, jet black brew, with a frothy beige head to start. The topping ebbs rapidly but leaves some good lace rings behind. Aroma comes across as rather roasty with some decent choco. Though quite smooth, the body was disappointingly a smidge thin.
Flavor has some caramel and toffee before going somewhat roasty and bitter. Some dark chocolate mixes with a touch of cocoa, and the finish has a hint of florality. Pretty tasty, but I think it could have been really killer with more body and a touch more complexity.
Prosit!
