750ml bottle poured into Spiegelau glass bottled on 8/30
A: Big soapy white head. Body is a burnt orange amber with a little bit of a haze.
S: Lots of sweet grass, lemon, cantaloupe, honeydew, a little but of an overripe peach smell.
T: Lots of that sweet grass, cantaloupe, and a little trace of alcohol finishes bitter. Beer is not sweet as all, but the nose makes you think it will be.
M: Medium to lighter very crisp and surprisingly dry with a bitter finish.
O: A very nice fruity and herbal ipa with a light clean mouthfeel and dry finish. The beer follows the nose fairly closely and is very good. Slight alcohol heat detracts a little from the beer.

A slightly hazy gold color. There is a moderate white head and a little bit of lace.
Aroma a little lacking. Mostly citrus, a little pine/herbal. Sweet malt.
Taste makes up for the aroma. Grapefruit and pine against a caramel background.
The hops linger on the palate for quite a while.
My first beer from this new brewery, and it won't be my last.
