This surprisingly packs a strong punch of coffee...
...but outside of that and a very nice looking beer, the rest of it is just okay. Nonetheless, if you like a strong taste of coffee this is definitely for you. If you're looking for something complex, not so much...

From the bottom of the can: "RISE & SHINE 7/23/18"
Appearance: The body of the beer is very hazy and it has a light golden-orange color. There is a very short white head and it fizzles out very quickly leaving no head or lacing.
Aroma: There is a nice coffee aroma to the beer that smells closer to wet coffee grounds than anything else.
Taste: It has a light coffee taste at first and then there is this toasted caramel flavor that follows on its heels. The flavor of the beer is pretty good at first but it tapers off rather quickly and leaves very little flavor towards the back of the palate or in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: The beer feels a bit too thin and just empty on the palate. The carbonation feels pretty good and it is drinkable.
Overall: The beer was very mediocre and it left me wanting more of anything...more body, more flavor, and more aroma. It just fell short. On top of that it's not much to look at in a glass. It's drinkable but it's not a beer I would likely buy again.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
