There is a white square on the paper sticker label: "CANNED ON 6/28/2019"
Appearance: The body is opaque and light pineapple juice colored beige. The head is short, frothy, and white.
Aroma: The aroma is bursting with fresh hop oil that smells the way a hop bine does. There is a massive burst of mango, pineapple, pear, and a bit of tangerine. It is a perfect aroma.
Taste: The beer has a bit of a garlic flavor and some vegetable character, similar to okra. It isn't a bad or unpleasant flavor at all, but the flavor doesn't match the aroma.
Mouthfeel: It is light bodied with a touch of roughness. There is some mild hop burn in the beer.
Overall: What started out as an absolutely astounding aromatic beer led to a very mediocre tasting one. I'd buy it as a candle but as a drink it leaves much to be desired. The beer is clearly an attempt at the New England IPA but there isn't enough flavor. The body is similarly average in that it provides nothing more than a light burn in the back of the throat. It might sound like the beer isn't worth drinking based on the previous criticisms but the aroma makes up for it. I would still recommend the beer because it is likely that some people will have a different palate experience, and given how good this smells, it's worth the gamble.
