L: Poured from a bottle to a weizen glass. Had a dark brown color and a thick consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, off white head that lasted a below average amount of time. Solid lacing.
S: A good aroma of malt, bourbon, a vinous quality, hops, and caramel.
T: Tasted of some bourbon notes (and the accompanying barrels), lots of the vinous quality, a hint of hops (mostly in the finish), a bit of caramel, and some bready notes. An interesting flavor, to be sure - definitely not what I was expecting. The bourbon and wine aging gives this is a unique and complex flavor.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: If you're looking for something unusual with a straightforward style, try this one. Drinkable.
