Poured a black body with minimal head and very little lace. The aroma comes across as artificial butterscotch and boozy (almost like a liqueur) and is slightly off-putting. Medium to heavy body, has a butterscotch sweetness and boozy feel and finish. Ends up becoming a chore to finish b/c of cloying sweetness and is basically a boozy, butterscotch bomb.

Pours a dark, opaque brown with really no head at all. Nose is light butterscotch, malt and alcohol. Taste is a little overpowering with alcohol mouth feel. I've had higher abv stouts that didn't have this strong of a burn. Taste has some butterscotch and light malts but the alcohol feel overpowers and does not let me get down and dirty to the complexity of this beer. Not bad, just not great !

From the can, it pours a lovely darker brown with a tan head, soon diminishing to a slight ring. In the nose, it isbutterscotch and alcohol. In the mouth, it is butterscotch over roasted malts. Interesting.
