I don't see a date on the bottom of the can or anywhere else.
Appearance: The body is a light lemon yellow-gold color with a gelatin opacity. The head is thick and white but short. Good head retention and lacing.
Aroma: The beer has a big spicy aroma of bay leaf and clove. There is a bit of alcohol in there as well.
Taste: There is some spicy white pepper and clove. It has a very light herbal character. The aftertaste tends to be a bit stronger than what is in the forefront of the palate.
Mouthfeel: It is light and easy to drink with a mild bitterness and soft carbonation.
Overall: It is not your traditional IPA but rather one that is more spicy and herbal. It has a nice bitter bite which will entice hop lovers. It is an acquired taste so I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. The can states that this is a "WHITE INDIA PALE ALE" and traditionally this means a cross between a Witbier and an IPA, however this does not quite fit the flavor or aroma profile. I would recommend it more to those who enjoy raw white pepper flavor and secondarily clove. I found it interesting enough that I would drink it again and would recommend it to those who would enjoy more herbal and spicy beers.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a bright yellow color and a cloudy consistency. There was a 3/4", foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: An interesting aroma of hops, spices, citrus fruit, and malt.
T: Tasted of a mild amount of malt (mostly in the finish), a good amount of citrus fruit (orange, lemon), a lot of hops (almost too much), and a good amount of spices (cloves, coriander). Basically, a hybrid of a witbier and an IPA flavor. It doesn't always work, though. For some reason - at least at times - they clash; this may be due to the hops content. When it works, it's actually quite tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a slightly bitter, dry finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A very much uneven beer, but an interesting one. Worth a look.
