L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had an orange / yellow color and a very cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, long-lasting head. Fantastic lacing.
S: A very good aroma of hops, citrus fruit, pine, malt, and a bready quality.
T: Tasted of a decent bit of pine (just enough to make things interesting), a bit of the bready quality (a subtle presence), a good shot of hops (not overdone, though), a decent bit of malt (mostly in the finish; not a huge factor), and some citrus notes (orange and grapefruit, in particular). This is a well-balanced, easy to like flavor. Pretty tasty.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A solidly made beer all around. Worth a try.

Poured from a 16oz can into a spieglau glass
Look: Hazy deep brown orange with a white head with a yellow tinge to it.
Smell: Malty with grassy hops. Surprisingly muted for a triple IPA. Not much going on here.
Taste: Now the smell makes sense. Not to much going on here either. Honey malt, grassy hops, grapefruit, and crackers.
Overall: Just fine. Nothing offensive but also nothing interesting. It’s just bland.

From the white box above the barcode: "CANNED ON 7/2/2019"
Appearance: The body is a dark and cloudy bronze color with hints of burnt gold around the edges. The head is large and eggshell off-white. It has exceptional head retention and very good lacing.
Aroma: There is a very pleasant pine and caramel aroma to the beer. There is a bit of wet wood and aged lacquer scent.
Taste: It tastes like subtle pine with a hint of mint in the front of the palate. Towards the middle the beer gives way to a soft biscuit-caramel flavor and more of that pine. The end finishes with an old woody character.
Mouthfeel: It feels medium-full with some alcohol heat. High bitterness is expected but welcome, however there is a touch of rawness which also hampers drinkability.
Overall: This is not only a well done beer, but an expertly well done beer. This certainly goes on the radar of "beers to buy" whenever I visit my bottleshop. The beer does feel a bit young when it comes to the mouthfeel so I would let it sit for a bit before drinking. I would buy it again and I would like to age it a bit to see how it fares.
