We've had a lot of fun with the name of this beer and it's adjuncts! We took a traditional pilsner recipe and gave it a twist by adding a heaping addition of apricot and a moderate addition of crushed pistachio. The apricot contributes a slight haze and a fruit forward aroma without compromising the crispness of the base beer. The sip finishes with a subtle nutty character from the addition of pistachio. Crackin' Nutz is pretty good, so get your hands on some while you can.

Not a hint of aroma or taste from the pistachio, mostly apricot and citrus on the tongue, malty with a dry finish. Decent for a non-traditional pilsner.
