Party Dinosaur (chai spice)

Purchased a 16 oz can at the Casual Pint in Virginia Beach VA. One of several "Party Dinosaur" beers from Oozlefinch, based on the spicing. According to the can, this one features Chai, cinnamon, almond powder, cardamom and apricot. Appearance features a dense apricot color and a small fizzy/bubbly white head that fades quickly. Filmy lacing with "dots" all over, kind of like a very thin sheet of patterned plastic film on the glass. Aroma and flavor are unique to say the least!!! It is a sour but the flavors are at least equal to the sourness. The tea and apricot form the backbone, but there is a healthy amount of cinnamon and other spices in the mix. The blend works well, the cinnamon is just shy of "too much" with the other flavors coming through. Mouthfeel is rich, moderately sour with a nice blend of spicing to tickle the tongue. This is an unusual beer, flavor-wise, but it works. I would like to try others in this series if Oozlefinch is canning them!!!!!
