Oozlefinch tends to use the same names over and over (like Crazy Pants, Das Yummy etc.) with a list of ingredients used in each variation on the bottom of the can. I'm sure they will have other "Don't Be Weird" variations in the future. I am also sure they never put "Fall Fruits Medley" on the can. I'm figuring the beer I just finished (which features aged on oak chips, apples, raisins, currants, cranberries, figs, cherries, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, allspice, vanilla, and lactose) is the "Falls Fruits Medley". Did I taste all these ingredients???? Hell no!!!! Just like with the last Oozlefinch Sour I tried (a Crazy Pants variation), the sum of all these ingredients defines the beer. What I actually noticed was mostly the sourness, the cranberries, cherries, allspice, nutmeg, and ginger. Picked up a 16 oz can at the Casual Pint in Virginia Beach. Pours a very dark, dense pink color with a small, fizzy light pink head. The horrible Bud Chelada experience is so far behind me that I can now enjoy a pink beer and pink head!!!! Good looking beer. No lacing to speak of and minimal head retention. Extra points for the color of the beer and the head. Aroma and taste are the sourness, the cranberries, cherries, allspice, nutmeg, and ginger. Lots of rich flavor, impossible to catalogue all the flavors. Mouthfeel is rich, spicy and sour. Another excellent beer from Oozlefinch!!!
