I don't see a date listed on the can. There is a QR code that Oozlefinch uses but it has been out of date for over 2 years.
Appearance: It has a pale straw gold colored body that is very hazy but not quite opaque. It has a short-lived fizzy white head that leaves no lacing on the glass.
Aroma: It has an aroma that smells a bit like coconut, then there is this souring fruit scent as the nose gets closer to the glass. It doesn't smell like any specific fruit, just like a souring fruit. Mostly it just has this coconut scent.
Taste: Up front it has this coconut flavor followed by some lime. It tastes a bit like key lime pie and artificial coconut.
Mouthfeel: It is thin bodied but there is pretty good carbonation. It doesn't feel that great on the tongue, it's about one step above a seltzer. It's still drinkable it just doesn't feel the greatest to drink.
Overall: The beer as a whole is pretty boring and it doesn't taste the greatest either. It is a bit like drinking a seltzer made with sunscreen that smells like coconuts. The coconut is alright but it just smells and tastes fake. The can states that this is a "SOUR ALE WITH BANANA PUREE, COCONUT CREAM, WHIPPED CREAM, AND VANILLA BEAN." The only thing that comes through is the coconut, but at times it actually tastes more like key lime pie than anything. It's a drinkable beer but it feels like a miss. It's not one I'd buy again or recommend.
