The third beer I’ve had from Oozlefinch and honestly, the only one I’ve liked. Has a hazelnut spread creaminess with fruit flavors on the backend. Strawberry and banana are the highlights. A good vanilla flavor as well. Very balance and unique.

It poured like a dark lager, distinctly reddish brown and thin looking. The light tan head barely formed before it began to dissolve.
The aroma brought to mind banana bread, fair enough as banana and crepes are target flavors. The flavors (yes, plural) changes by temperature- originally poured at 54 degrees I let it warm throughout dinner, mostly hoping it would get really good at some point.
The first sips made me think I had gotten a sour stout, strawberry and vanilla seemed to interact in this way, but a few minutes later the banana joins the party and dials down the tart. A few minutes after that the cocoa and malts make themselves apparent and I think I detected the hazelnut flavor but was never sure. I ran out of beer before I figured it out, I am really hoping someone else can better define it for everyone.
The feel was good, almost the best part. Nicely viscous and smooth, ideal for an imperial stout and quite drinkable.
So overall, glad I tried it but feel I am not the target audience.
