No can date
Pours a dark fizzy brown 1 finger head with lower retention then slows to a med pace, little lacing, jet black color
Nose wow there's a lot going on, I get lots of spices, nutmeg out front, then cinnamon and spicy pepper, some coffee, caramelized brown sugar, a little dark chocolate and coffee, that sweet sugar
Taste again is very Christmas like, nutmeg, cinnamon, a bit of a cinnamon gingerbread cookie, plenty of pepper spice, some dark chocolate and roast, into coffee, more of that sweet caramelized brown sugar, creamy lactose and milk chocolate, a bit of bitterness, finishes sticky with warming alcohol and plenty of pepper heat
Mouth is fuller bod, rich creamy, med higher foamy carb, warming alcohol and plenty of pepper heat
Overall not bad, the base stout is decent and sugar flavors go well with it without getting too sweet, pepper spice is a little aggressive but I like it, my real complaint is the spices which are overpowering and take over the other good parts of the beer, it's like a holiday over spiced cookie
