Looks and smells like a disappointing brew, but when you drink it, it’s actually pretty delightful. It’s smooth, soft and fulfilling. I am pleasantly surprised how good this turned out.

A: Cherry wine sangria. Violet lipstick. Produces a lot of foam compared to liquid at 2-to-1 ratio; foamy, lilac colored.
S: Buckwheat spice, chokecherry syrup - very bright and bursting acidity, Knott's berry mixed jam, earthy butterscotch with woodsy birch sap.
M: High carbonation, lots of tingling sourness both on the lips and on the palate, med body. Good on its own merits, but combined with the spice of the maca it's more than abrasive on the throat.
T: Radish like spiciness really dominates the tart and bursting notes of chokecherry and blackberry, which I rather like. Just the maca spice - horseradish brash - is too much. Toned down I might suggest a baked ginger crisp apple rather than a crab apple.

Thick ruby violet body with a reddish head. Pixie stick nose with all of that fruity sugar, light tartness, super busy. Taste starts as crazy fruity tootsie roll pop with a blackberry in particular leading, but all so sweet, but then it somehow ends even sweeter as enters in sickly sweet maple, more busy than nose somehow. This is a diabetic nightmare! Feel is sugary, lightly sour, thick and sweet besides the sugary nature. Overwhelming how sweet it is on the palate
