Mixed Berry Pie is my first beer from Oozlefinch out of VA. It is a smoothie sour without too much of the latter. It has a great balance of berry and vanilla and, overall, is much better than other pastry sours on the market.

16 oz can.
Pours a thick, murky smashed blueberry color with a head that has been replaced by gigantic-ass bubbles. Lacing is basically chunks of fruit. What even is beer?
Aromas of blueberry and raspberry pie filling, pie crust, light vanilla cream, very faint spices.
Tastes like blueberries, faint raspberry and cherry pie filling, vanilla, doughy malt and the faintest idea of cinnamon.
The feel is medium-full bodied with almost zero carbonation. Creamy, soft and smooth.
Overall, this is another one of those "is this actually a beer" beers, but it comes precisely as it is advertised on the can. Like I always say, if you bought this expecting something else, that's on you.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
